Red Hill Estate is a boutique, multi-award-winning winery on 46 acres in Red Hill South, established in 1989 and known for some of the best panoramic views of any winery in the world, taking in Western Port Bay, Bass Strait and Phillip Island. The cool-climate estate produces Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, Shiraz and sparkling styles, with a generously sized cellar door popular with Peninsula wine tourists. On the same site, Max's Restaurant, opened in 1994 by Max Paganoni, holds the title of the Mornington Peninsula's original winery restaurant, serving modern, seasonal dishes from a dining room overlooking the vineyard toward the bay. The property's manicured grounds, feature pond and gravel driveway lined with agapanthus have also made it a sought-after wedding venue, with ceremony spaces on the lawn or under cover, and reception capacity for 60 to 100 guests.
