Rahona Valley

Rahona Valley is a a boutique winery in Red Hill South, offering a selection of single vineyard wines. It is one of the more interesting small vineyards on the Mornington Peninsula, on a steep north-facing slope of a secluded valley in the Red Hill area known for its ancient red basalt soils. The vineyard, established in 1991, is nestled in bushland in the valley protected from winds. The growing conditions are excellent, with yields kept low through pruning, while ripeness in this cool maritime area is enhanced through the vineyard's northerly aspect and vertical trellising system. Cellar door open the first weekend of every month Saturday and Sunday 12pm-5pm.
