Rhino Tiger Bear

Rhino Tiger Bear is a family of animals and a small family winery on the Mornington Peninsula. Rhiannon and Owen Goodwin make up the Rhino and the Tiger and Bear are the middle names of their two boys Fred and Lelo. Rhi n O have a combined passion for producing small parcels of wines with refined character, using both our science degrees (microbiology, oenology and environmental science), coupled with old world winemaking techniques.Playing with balance using underlying principles of biodynamics to avoid the use of additives. Using timing and time to grow meticulous vineyards. The extra work in the vineyard reduces the need to add during the winemaking process. After completing 20 vintages on and around the Peninsula, Owen was invited to create great Pinot Noir in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island. The family moved after the 2016 vintage. Tucking away some incredibly beautiful wines in their Dromana winery, for a well-needed slumber. Rhiannon traveled back several times over the years to work on the wines, bottle and now sell.
