Welcome to Food and Wine with Love. These Terms apply to your use of our website, app, listings, content and related services (the “Platform”). Food and Wine with Love may also operate associated brands, including Peninsula Food with Love.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

Our mission

Our mission is to support and grow Australia’s food and hospitality industry by connecting diners with cafés, restaurants, wineries, bars, bakeries, food brands and other venues through discovery, content and listings.

Who can use the Platform

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must consent to these Terms and is responsible for your use.

Accounts and registration

Some features may require you to create an account (for example, to manage or edit a listing). You agree to provide accurate, current information and keep your login details secure and confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

Food providers / listing owners (your responsibilities)

If you create, claim or manage a listing or upload content, you are responsible for your content and compliance. This includes ensuring that:

  • you have the legal right to use any images, logos, menus, text or other materials you upload
  • your content is accurate, not misleading, and does not infringe another person’s rights
  • your business complies with applicable laws and regulations (including food safety obligations, licensing/permits, council requirements, and relevant insurances where applicable)
  • you keep your listing reasonably up to date

We may edit, remove or refuse content that we believe breaches these Terms or is inappropriate.

Users/consumers (your responsibilities)

If you use the Platform as a diner/consumer, you are responsible for your own decisions and purchases. You should make your own checks to ensure a venue or provider suits your needs, including dietary, allergy, safety or other requirements.

No endorsement

We do not endorse or verify content posted by listing owners. The Platform and all materials are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the Platform or reliance on listings or content.

Dissatisfaction and disputes

If you are dissatisfied with a purchase or interaction with a vendor, you agree to contact the vendor directly first. You may also notify us with a copy of your complaint so we can review any potential breaches of our policies.

Feedback and reports

We may provide tools for feedback and reporting. If you believe someone has violated intellectual property rights, laws or our policies, you can report it by contacting us.

Changes to the Platform or Terms

We may update the Platform or these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we may provide notice where required by law. Continued use of the Platform after changes are published means you accept the updated Terms.

Termination

You may close your account at any time through your account settings (where available). We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or policies, or where reasonably necessary to protect the Platform, users, or our business.

Subscriptions & billing (venues)

Our paid listings operate as recurring subscriptions unless clearly stated otherwise. By subscribing, you authorise Food and Wine with Love to charge the subscription fee on a recurring basis via our payment provider (Stripe) until you cancel.

Subscription fees, billing frequency and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout. You are responsible for maintaining accurate billing details.

Cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Fees already paid are generally not refundable except where required under Australian Consumer Law.

Occasional one-off payments

From time to time, we may offer one-off payments for specific services (for example, a once-off promotion or listing upgrade). Where a one-off payment applies, it will be clearly described at checkout and will not renew automatically.

Payments are processed by Stripe

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store full card details on our servers.
