Food and Wine with Love began as a grassroots community initiative to bolster local food businesses during the initial stages of the pandemic.

Initiated by Isidora Love, a Facebook group was established to connect the community with fantastic food options in the Mornington Peninsula and its surrounding areas.

The response was overwhelming, with thousands eager to join the group and support local businesses. The initiative quickly became an indispensable resource for the community, revealing the abundance and variety of incredible food businesses previously unknown to many.

Today, this initiative boasts with large following with over 27k active users seeking information on available food and wine options, including wineries, cafes, restaurants, takeaways, bars, catering services, cake makers, and more.

To streamline the process of finding and ordering food and wine, an impressive app was launched. This platform supports nearly 500 local food businesses, allowing them to create their own online stores where customers can easily browse, order, and pay. What's more, the ordering platform charges no commissions, ensuring 100% of the revenue stays local.

Proudly, the app has been recognized as the only Australian-made and owned food app in the country.

The accompanying website is widely utilised and immensely popular among locals, garnering thousands of hits weekly.

Our goal is to support and invigorate the local food industry, making it effortless for food enthusiasts to find exactly what they're craving and to discover new culinary delights regularly.
