Barragunda Dining is a 40-seat farm-to-table restaurant set on the 1,000-acre Barragunda Estate at Cape Schanck, the southernmost tip of the Mornington Peninsula. Opened in February 2025 by the Morris family and helmed by Executive Chef and farmer Simone Watts (ex-Coda), the restaurant debuted straight into two hats in the Good Food Guide.
The intimate glasshouse dining room overlooks a working market garden, with a seasonal four-course set menu ($160pp) built around what the farm produces each day, alongside Estate-reared hogget, Black Angus beef and seafood from Wildlife Fisheries. All profits go to the Morris Family Foundation, supporting regenerative food systems work.
