Foxeys Hangout is an award-winning winery, cellar door and restaurant set among the hills of Red Hill on the Mornington Peninsula, overlooking an organic, biodynamically farmed vineyard. Founded by winemaker brothers Michael and Tony Lee in the late 1990s, the label takes its name from a local Peninsula landmark once used by fox trappers as a scoreboard. Foxeys is known for nationally recognised Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris, alongside sparkling wine and rosé, including some of the Peninsula's first fully certified organic-biodynamic wines. Wine tastings and cellar door sales run seven days a week, with light, share-style lunches served in an architect-designed space with vineyard views from Friday to Monday and public holidays, prepared by chef Bernard McCarthy. Visitors can also book a barrel tasting or a guided vineyard walk, and the family-friendly deck lets kids play while parents dine.
