Blacksmith Bar & Grill occupies Level 7 of voco Melbourne Central on Timothy Lane, its rooftop terrace looking out over the city skyline. Executive chef Ian Lee runs a menu built around flame-grilled steaks from Gamekeepers, alongside Queensland king prawns and the bar's own baker's bread, cooked to order across the open rooftop kitchen. A Tuesday-to-Friday lunch special pairs steak, frites and a soft drink for twenty-five dollars between midday and two, with a dedicated Tuesday steak night running alongside. Happy hour covers the rooftop decks from four until seven, with seven-dollar beers, nine-dollar wines and eighteen-dollar cocktails and spritzes. Private rooms Hammer and Tongs are available for smaller groups, with the Pool Terrace able to host up to a hundred guests for larger private events.
