The Q Rooftop Bar sits on level 28 of the Quincy Hotel on Flinders Lane, offering 360-degree views of the Melbourne skyline stretching to the Yarra River and Port Phillip Bay. A golden chainmail archway marks the entrance to a space that shifts from a relaxed lounge by day to a moody, energetic bar as the sun sets. The drinks list showcases Australian spirits with a Southeast Asian lean, including a signature gin created with Brunswick distillery Antagonist. Food comes courtesy of Salted Egg downstairs, with executive chef Adam Woodfield, formerly of Chin Chin and Jimmy Liks, preparing bite-sized dishes such as raw tuna and prawn rice cups and fluffy pork bao. The Q runs happy hour Wednesday to Saturday from 4pm to 6pm, and can be hired for private events for up to 150 guests.
