Merricks Creek Winery

With multiple psychology degrees in the family (and a big zero in anything to do with wine) winemaking at Merricks Creek has always been a little different. Thankfully an oenology degree is on its way with @onesunbooze. We don’t stress too much about the science which we are now only just beginning to understand (a bit). Over the years we have come to recognise and value (and in really good vintages totally cherish) the expression of terroir in our pinot noir. But at the end of the day we focus on what tastes good to us, and what makes us happy. With 40+ combined career years working in psychological misery it only took us 20 of those to learn that half of the battle is won at the end of the bottle…and the other half at the end of the case!
