Via Battisti has traded on Lochiel Avenue in Mount Martha, opposite the beach, since owner Dan Force opened it in 2013. The cafe pours coffee from partner roaster Square One and serves an all-day breakfast and lunch menu inspired by the Mediterranean, running from healthy local muesli and golden banana bread with mascarpone through to scrambled eggs with gruyere on sourdough, French toast with ice cream, and spanakopita.
