Roast N’ Roll is a family-run food truck and catering business based in Capel Sound, owned and operated by Mornington Peninsula locals Joshua and Mikaela Robertson for more than a decade. The menu centres on slow-smoked barbecue meats tucked into handmade rolls, using fresh locally sourced ingredients and drawing flavour ideas from a range of cuisines. That means the food keeps the satisfying heart of low-and-slow barbecue while leaving room for different combinations and event menus. The truck appears at events and locations around the Peninsula, while the catering arm brings the same smoked-meat focus to private celebrations and functions further afield. Small-scale and personal by design, Roast N’ Roll combines the theatre and aroma of barbecue with the flexibility of mobile catering — food cooked with time, smoke and a distinctly local family-business character.
