Peninsula Platters

I recently moved to the beautiful Mornington Peninsula and immediately wanted to do something that utilised the amazing garden and orchard on our property and the bountiful foods and suppliers right here on our doorstep on the Peninsula. One of my passions for as long as I can remember has been food - my curiosity and learning at an early age from my mother and grandmother, and then in my 20's with my two amazing friends (and flatmates) who loved to entertaining more than me. With this combination, I have been creating and selling - catering, baking and canning in my years living in New Zealand, Bolivia and Canada. Platters on the Peninsula is my first step into realising my entertaining dream. Being just a stones throw from the Peninsula beach communities, I aim to use as many local suppliers of sweets, chocolates, fresh seasonal fruits and nuts, cheeses and preserved meats, and I make homemade dips and crackers, cakes and baked goods to showcase this fabulous area. My background is graphic design, and I use my creative instincts to curate spectacular platters for events. Birthdays, weekend getaways, hen's parties, BBQs - you name it, we will make a platter to suit your occasion. These include seasonal fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers from my own garden. Delivery: - Within 10km of Mt Eliza $15 - Other Peninsula communities $20-30 - Other places (POA) - Pick up FREE * Delivery price includes 1 hour set up and pick up of boards, bowls and cheese & dip knives and nut crackers. Exciting developments to come: fruit and vegetable platters for kids parties, individual kids party plates, rental department of outdoor festive lighting, table settings and party supply shop.
