Ripe ’N’ Ready Cherry Farm has been part of Red Hill since 1968, when Eric and Margaret Easy began farming the property while waiting for their first cherry trees to mature. Their son Simon started roadside cherry sales in 1993 and later introduced pick-your-own, turning the family farm into a seasonal Mornington Peninsula experience. During cherry season, generally from November into January, visitors can walk through the mature orchard, pick fruit directly from the trees and take home what they harvest. The farm shop remains open through the year with seasonal produce that can include berries, avocados, garlic, zucchini, flowers, free-range eggs and honey. The 24-acre property uses regenerative farming practices and continues as a working family farm rather than a purpose-built attraction. That gives a visit its character: rows of trees, changing crops and a farmgate that reflects what is actually growing in Red Hill at the time.
