Jaipur Palace has served Main Road in Wellington Point since 1998, established by husband-and-wife team Dharminder, known to guests as David, and Sheena, and remains one of Brisbane's older and more decorated Indian restaurants. Vibrant artworks, bright orange tablecloths and charming trinkets set the scene inside, transporting guests to the city of Jaipur, while alfresco footpath seating under twinkling fairy lights adds a romantic touch to warmer evenings. The kitchen serves a distinct fusion of traditional North Indian food and English influence, spanning spiced potato samosas and tandoori drumsticks to signature curries including chicken tikka masala, chilli prawn goa and butter paneer, matched with a choice of thirteen specialty naan breads. What began with a staff of five and seating for 35 has grown into a 20-strong team catering for up to 200 guests, with private dining for eight and catering available for weddings, engagement parties and cultural celebrations. It's a genuine, family-run institution for Indian cuisine on Brisbane's bayside.
