Bridges runs as a restaurant, bar and function centre on fifteen acres of bushland at Hurstbridge, inside a mud brick building with a raked timber ceiling and manna gums visible through the windows. The seasonal menu changes as produce turns, with weekly specials running Wednesday to Sunday: parma night on Wednesday and Thursday, a build-your-own pasta night on Friday alongside poker night in the bar, hand-cut steak on Saturday, and a slow Sunday roast lunch. The kitchen and bar trade Wednesday to Saturday from ten until three and five until nine, and Sunday from ten until three, closed Monday and Tuesday. The function centre seats up to two hundred and fifty, or four hundred for a cocktail reception, hosting weddings, cocktail parties, sit-down functions, corporate events and celebrations of life, with ceremonies held on the grounds and receptions inside. Wedding packages include a two- or three-course menu, house wines and tap beers, a private bridal room and a wedding coordinator, with four-hour evening functions as standard. The property also runs the Wattle Market on selected Sundays, school holiday workshops, and creative and wellness sessions including yoga and sound healing, with a dedicated wellness room planned.
