Dexter is an American barbecue restaurant on High Street in Preston, opened by Adam Goldblatt with Sam and Tom Peasnell. The kitchen works to a meat-first philosophy, building each dish around the specific characteristics of a cut of meat or a vegetable rather than fitting ingredients to a fixed menu format. Located at 456 High Street, on the corner of High Street and Murray Road in Preston, Dexter is open for dinner Wednesday to Saturday and lunch on Sunday, with street parking nearby and Preston train station within walking distance.
