Bridge Road Brewers Brunswick East sits inside East Brunswick Village, the Melbourne outpost of the independent, family-owned Beechworth brewery founded by Ben and Maria Kraus in 2005. Thirty taps run across two bars, pouring beer brewed on site in the in-house Brunswick microbrewery alongside fresh releases from the original Beechworth operation. Head chef Jabili Mchawala runs an ingredient-led modern Australian menu with a nod to the classic pizzas of the Beechworth sister venue, built around produce from North East Victoria. Dog-friendly outdoor areas run along both Nicholson Street and Bluestone Way, and the venue is wheelchair accessible throughout. Walk-ins are welcome, with functions available by request for weddings and events, up to a full venue buyout. The brewery trades daily from midday until late, with the kitchen open from midday to nine at night, closed Christmas, Boxing Day, Good Friday and Easter Monday.
