Stella Restaurant is a long-established Henley Beach dining venue at 2/257 Seaview Road, with a history stretching back to 1995. Its home began life as the Henley Beach Institute in 1895, giving the restaurant a distinctive connection to the area. The kitchen centres on modern Italian cooking, seasonal produce and seafood, while retaining Mediterranean influences that have been part of Stella’s identity since its early years. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served seven days, with weekend breakfast beginning earlier. Seasonal menus use local and imported Italian ingredients, supported by a wine list drawing from South Australian regions including McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley and the Adelaide Hills as well as Italian labels. Cocktails and spirits broaden the drinks selection. The seaside position is a major part of the setting, particularly for alfresco dining and sunset views around Henley Square.
