Description

Iberica is a Spanish tapas and wine bar on Bondi Road, drawing inspiration from small towns along Spain's Balearic coast. The venue is run by managing director Joaquin Saez, also behind Bondi's Ikaria, alongside executive chef Ivan Sanchez, who brings 15 years of experience in Spanish cuisine from restaurants including Porteño and Bastardo. The shareable menu features dishes such as grilled octopus, salt cod croquettes, Spanish sausage with romesco and jamon Iberico, alongside a signature grilled bread with truffle butter. The drinks list, developed by head of bar Carlo Valdivia, centres on Spanish and Iberian wines alongside creative cocktails and sangria. With interior design that evokes the Mediterranean, Iberica suits an intimate dinner for two as well as larger group bookings, and caters for different dietary requirements.
