Crafted by Matt Moran occupies the ground level of the Art Gallery of New South Wales' Naala Nura building, developed by chef Matt Moran in partnership with the Gallery's food and beverage operator, The Fresh Collective, to reflect his focus on fresh, seasonal and locally sourced produce. The restaurant showcases quality Australian produce through a light, Mediterranean-inspired menu that evolves with the seasons, paired with an all-Australian wine list alongside Champagne, cocktails, beers, ciders and a substantial non-alcoholic offering. Its recently refurbished dining room has a warm, inviting feel with floor-to-ceiling windows and views over East Sydney, and the space can be hired exclusively for evening events, including private dinners and wedding receptions for up to 116 guests. Open for lunch Tuesday to Sunday and late on Wednesday evenings, it pairs naturally with a visit to the Gallery's current exhibitions.
