Baker Boys

Baker Boys has been baking on the Mornington Peninsula since 1937, now run by brothers Paul and John Mentiplay, who took over the ovens from their father and grandfather before them. Operating as a wholesale bakery from Nepean Highway in Mornington, it supplies cafes, restaurants, hotels, delis and supermarkets across the Peninsula and along Port Phillip Bay into Melbourne's south-east suburbs. The range spans artisan sourdough and sliced tin bread, with French baguettes, ciabatta and Turkish bread produced alongside burger buns, pastries and traditional loaves for a broad mix of hospitality and retail needs. Orders placed by mid-afternoon are prepared for next-day delivery, supporting kitchens and stockists across the region with bread baked as part of the bakery's regular production cycle. The Mornington operation has built its reputation around sourdough, ciabatta, French-style breads and dependable wholesale supply, with local stockists extending from Mornington to Frankston and Mount Eliza.
