Peninsula Nut Co began at Gippsland markets in 2004 as The Nut Bloke before Marcus and Jackie moved their young family to the Mornington Peninsula in 2016. Now based in Mount Martha, the business brings together fresh nuts, seeds, dried fruit, chocolates, flours, wholefoods, hampers and its own homemade Humpercrunch muesli. The range has grown to more than 60 wholefood products, with organic nuts and other organic lines becoming an increasing focus. Orders can be placed online for delivery across Victoria and interstate, while local customers can arrange pickup or delivery from Mount Martha. The business still maintains its long connection with Gippsland through regular market visits and delivery runs, giving the story a foot in both regions. Alongside everyday pantry products, Peninsula Nut Co prepares gift hampers and retail packs, and supplies selected hotels, wineries and other stockists.
