Justin Lane Brisbane took over a heritage-listed Fortitude Valley corner in 2024, expanding the Burleigh Heads institution first established in 2011 into two adjoining Queenslander cottages that once housed Alfred & Constance. A collaboration with Space Cubed Design Studio has given the site a 200-capacity dining space, a high-end underground cocktail and vinyl lounge called With Love, and a rooftop bar strung with golden light bulbs and open-air views over the surrounding rooftops. The menu carries much of Burleigh's beloved offering north, built around sourdough pizzas and handmade pasta alongside a broader spread of antipasti, snacks and a stellar cocktail list, including the group's famous passionfruit and chilli Tommy's Margarita. Child-friendly, with a dedicated kids menu of pizza, pasta and dessert, the venue is entered via Constance Street's open-air beer garden, connecting through to the enclosed dining room and up to the rooftop via the second cottage.
