Harry's by Giuls opened on Stanley Street in late 2022 as the second restaurant from Giulia Treuner and chef Esmeralda Perez, who first launched Giuls in Surry Hills a year earlier. Where Giuls leans into al fresco dining, Harry's takes a more indoor, Milanese-casual approach, built around Italian tapas, homemade fresh pasta and modern pizzas paired with an exclusively Italian wine list. The name honours Treuner's Opa, who travelled through Italy with her and encouraged her entrepreneurial drive, and the venue continues Giuls' conscious decision to staff mostly with women in a traditionally male-dominated industry. Nearly everything on the menu is produced in-house and fresh daily, with dishes including East 33 oysters, red wine-infused drunk pasta and squid-ink mafaldine with baby octopus. Set on Stanley Street among Darlinghurst's dining strip, Harry's suits both a relaxed after-work glass of wine and a proper Italian dinner.
