Figo Restaurant brings restaurateur Massimo Orobello's 20 years of hospitality experience in Milan to Bayswater Road in Rushcutters Bay, paired with Head Chef Mattia Porcellato's 12 years leading the kitchen. The menu blends modern Italian innovation with well-preserved tradition, from slow-cooked baby octopus with grilled sourdough to pappardelle with osso buco ragu and pecorino, alongside close to 200 labels of Italian wine. The fit-out mixes exposed concrete, dark timber and plush velvet booths with wine racks lining the walls, giving the boutique restaurant an intimate, rustic-luxe feel suited equally to a romantic dinner or a catch-up with friends and family. A set menu is available for groups of 10 to 20, and the restaurant caters to both lunch, Thursday to Saturday, and dinner through the week. It's a considered, personal take on Italian dining just outside the Kings Cross precinct.
