Chaco Ramen Bondi grew out of the original Chacobar concept and now runs as a dedicated ramen and izakaya restaurant on O'Brien Street, a short walk from the beach. The kitchen is led by Keita Abe and Shinji Okuda, bringing charcoal-grilled yakitori skewers to the table alongside ramen and a menu shaped around Japanese izakaya dining. Beyond the ramen, the offering runs to soft shell crab sushi and gyoza, with a small bar pouring wine, beer and batch cocktails to accompany the food. The dining room has a breezy, casual feel that suits relaxed meals and evenings with friends, while lunch service runs Friday to Sunday alongside dinner most nights of the week. Signature bowls include tomato ramen and spicy chicken miso ramen, each reflecting Chaco's modern approach to ramen and the kitchen's focus on carefully built flavour.
