Abattoir Blues occupies a heritage building in Sydney Olympic Park's Abattoir Precinct, reached via stairs from Herb Elliot Avenue, with a sunny courtyard for outdoor seating. The brunch menu runs to a signature Spiced Maple Benedict and smashed avocado, served daily from seven until three on weekdays and from eight until half past two on weekends, with most specialty breakfast dishes able to be made gluten free. A separate event menu covers Wagyu burgers, a grilled chicken nourish bowl and sirloin steak for those heading to a show at Accor Stadium or Qudos Bank Arena nearby. Margaritas, wine, beer and spirits round out the drinks list alongside Aperol spritz, espresso martini and coffee. The venue caters for team lunches, milestone celebrations and other group bookings, with a deposit required for groups of ten or more, minimum spends applying for exclusive or after-hours events, and a small cakeage fee for celebration cakes.
