Ricks Garage is a Palmwoods venue combining an American-style diner, bars, live music and strong vintage motoring character. The Margaret Street site began life as a blacksmith and later an automotive garage, and that history remains visible in the venue’s identity. Burgers and diner-style food anchor the menu, while the bar range includes beer, cocktails and a dedicated Whiskey Bar. A separate Bakehouse handles early coffee and breakfast trade, extending the business well beyond lunch and dinner. Live music runs on weekends, and family-focused Friday nights add another regular reason to visit. The beer garden is dog friendly, while function spaces include the Retro Room, Beer Garden and Whiskey Bar. Open seven days, Ricks Garage works as much as an entertainment destination as a restaurant, particularly for car enthusiasts, families and groups exploring the Sunshine Coast hinterland.
