Pt. Leo Estate is a 330-acre wine, dining and sculpture destination on the southern tip of the Mornington Peninsula in Merricks, combining a working vineyard, three distinct restaurants and Australia's largest privately owned sculpture park. The cool-climate vineyard produces Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris, available for tasting daily at the Cellar Door from 11am.
Dining spans three venues. Laura, led by Culinary Director Josep Espuga, holds two AGFG Chef Hats and is a member of the international Relais & Châteaux association, serving lunch Friday to Monday and dinner on Saturdays. Pt. Leo Restaurant carries one AGFG Chef Hat and offers Modern Australian a la carte dining with sweeping views over Western Port and Phillip Island, open for lunch daily and dinner Friday to Sunday. The vineyard-side Wine Terrace serves seasonal shared and a la carte menus for lunch Friday to Sunday, and Vespre Bar opens Saturday evenings.
The 16-acre Sculpture Park, open daily from 11am, holds Australia's largest privately owned collection of outdoor sculpture, with works by international and Australian artists including KAWS, Jaume Plensa, Bruce Armstrong and Julian Opie, set among native landscaping overlooking the vineyard and coastline.
Pt. Leo Estate also hosts weddings and private events, with exclusive use of the property available for celebrations of up to 150 guests. Located on Frankston-Flinders Road, the estate brings wine, art and dining together on one coastal property, making it one of the Mornington Peninsula's most complete destinations.
