bills Surry Hills opened under the hotel on Crown Street in 1996, one of the earliest sites in Bill Granger's now-global group, which began in Darlinghurst in 1993 and has since spread to Seoul, Tokyo and London. The restaurant moved next door to a larger, better-suited space in 2018. The all-day menu runs from breakfast through afternoon tea and dinner, with the same scrambled eggs and ricotta hotcakes that have built the brand's reputation over three decades of trading. Coffee and fresh juice cover the morning trade, business lunches fill the middle of the day, and family dinners round out the evening. Walk-ins are welcome throughout the day, with the restaurant open daily from seven in the morning until ten at night.
