Cafe Freda's runs as a restaurant, neighbourhood bar and creative space on the corner of Oxford and Flinders streets in Darlinghurst, at Taylor Square. The venue was founded by David Abram and Carla Uriarte, with the space doubling as a dance floor for regular DJ sets on weekends. Abstract Thoughts Gallery sits next door, hosting exhibitions and shows. Cafe Freda's trades Wednesday to Sunday, with a happy hour running earlier in the week, and offers both indoor and outdoor seating.
