Description
Clubhouse Malvern was designed to capture the feeling of the 19th hole, the post-round drink that follows a round of golf, brought into cafe form by seasoned operator Julien Moussi. The 260-square-metre space is built around a custom-poured concrete bar, with seating for 80 inside, 30 out front and a further 25 in a sun-dappled courtyard. Coffee comes from Moussi's own Inglewood Coffee Roasters, paired with a breakfast and brunch menu that mixes cafe staples like panna cotta, hotcakes and smashed avocado with dishes drawing on the owner's Middle Eastern background, including a lamb kofta plate with naan, beetroot hummus, sumac labneh and spiced chickpeas. A handful of golf-themed cocktails round out the drinks list. Open daily for breakfast and lunch, Clubhouse also hosts functions and events for groups of varying sizes in its light-filled, concrete-finished space.
