Description

Clocks at Flinders sits at the southern end of Flinders Street Station, positioned between the Yarra River and the city's arts, sporting and CBD precincts. The venue was completely rejuvenated in March 2018 and now carries the look of a 1920s train station, with globe lighting, dark leather booths and a railway wagon-style dining area finished in brass, copper and timber, alongside some of the station's original windows. A coffee bar at the front opens onto the concourse for takeaway coffee and quick bites, while the kitchen serves pub classics including schnitzels, steaks, fish and chips and parmas from 11am. Downstairs, Miss Gunn's operates as Melbourne's first train station basement bar, pouring cocktails alongside share plates. Whether it's a coffee before catching a train, lunch overlooking the Yarra, or drinks after a show at the Arts Centre, Clocks positions itself as one of Melbourne's central meeting points.
