Alta Trattoria serves Piemontese vinoteca e cucina from the rear ground floor of 274 Brunswick Street in Fitzroy, built around the simple, wine-abundant trattorias of Piedmont. Dinner runs every night from half past five, with lunch added Friday to Monday from midday; BYO is available at lunch only, with a twenty-five-dollar corkage fee per bottle. The team also runs Cantina Moro, a newer sister restaurant exploring the food of Sicily and southern Italy.
